Waterloo Village State Park Photography Workshop May 4th, 2013 Salvatore Vasapolli Photography presents a workshop featuring Waterloo Village in Allamuchy Mountain State Park, New Jersey. Travel back to 1831 when trains when were still in their infancy and mass transit was either a horse coach or boat. Here at the half way point of the Morris Canal the village was built to serve the travelers as they disembark from their vessels as it was hauled up the Incline Plane Lock. People could visit the tavern, general store or stay in the hotel. We will shoot its blacksmith shop, grist and sawmill. Lovely 19th gothic style houses and church line the streets along with gardens, rustic cabins including a restored 400 yr old Lenape indian village.
